The matchday kicked off with high spending Chelsea‘s match against Fulham. 0-0, not much to talk about. The new signings will need some time to adjust to the life in the Prem. In the second game of the round, Arsenal faced Everton with their new manager, Sean Dyche and surprisingly lost! This is Arsenal’s 2nd loss of the season.
This was City’s chance to get closer to Arsenal, however they managed to do exactly the opposite, as they lost to Spurs. Harry Kane scored and became Tottenham’s all time scorer. Klopp’s Liverpool team suffered the same faith, losing to relegation candidate, Wolves, 3-0 to add to their woes.

With Arsenal and Man City losing, Man United got close to the top, thanks to their win versus Palace. They are now 3 points behind City, however a further five behing Arsenal, who also got a game in hand. Newclastle are 4th, one point above Spurs. Chelsea are still 9th, with Liverpool on 10th place.
Southampton are last, they are on 15 points. Bournemouth are 2 points above them, with the duo of Everton and Leeds a further point up. West Ham, Wolves and Leicester are also not safe, they are on 19, 20 and 21. Forest are on 24, so they are looking OK for now.
News came in today that Man City might be punished for some FFP irregularities. Will keep an eye out on those news.
