RB Leipzig’s great run of form continues, as they open the round by defeating VFB Stuttgart. This time it was young Hungarian midfielder, Dominik Szoboszlai with a double, however Dani Olmo had to be subbed off due to injury, which may cause some consern. In one of the more interesting matches of the round, the Berlin Derby, Union walked away as victors, 2-0 against Hertha.
In the highlight of the round, first placed Bayern faced Franfkurt and the match did not disappoint, both teams walked away with a point. Interesting to note, this is Bayern’s 3rd draw in a row in the Bundesliga. Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen, also in a great run of form, faced Borussia Dortmund at home. It was Borussia who came out on top, with a 2-0 win. Karim Adeyemi scored, while Tapsoba put the back into his own net.

The Bundesliga is more exciting than ever! Bayern are still leaders, however their lead has shrunk to only 1 point in front of Union Berlin. Marco Rose’s RB Leipzig are 3rd, with a further point behind, one more than the duo of Borussia Dortmund and SC Freiburg. Things are heating up!
Despite getting a point against Koln, Schalke 04 are still last, finally hitting double digits. Also looking bleak for Hertha, who are 17th, on 14 points. Bochum and VfB Stuttgart are on 16. Thanks to their great form, Bayer Leverkusen are way out of relegation zone, they are now 9th.
Team of the Week
The attack is lead by German internation, Fullkrug, who scored a double for Werder. We have two players from Gladbach, Hofmann and Stindl make the cut. Same rating as Hofmann, a 9.4 is Onisiwo from Mainz, together with his team mate, Caci. In midfield we have Kimmich and Szoboszlai.
Kobel is our keeper, with a defense consisting of Union Berlin’s Doekhi, Koln’s Chabot and Freiburg’s Lienhart.
