The round started with Schalke 04 meeting VfL Wolfsburg. The match ended 0 – 0, both teams getting a point each. In the second match, defending champs, Bayern hosted Bochum and they managed to grab the 3 points, 3-0. Both Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund, also walked away with wins, after Xabi’s team beat Hoffenheim, while Dortmund beat Werder, 2-0.

In the highlight match of the round, RB Leipzig hosted high-flying Union Berlin. Despite going one goal down, Union managed to crawl back and they walked away from Leipzig with a 2-1 win. Hertha finally won a match, as they beat Gladbach, while Frankfurt surprisingly lost to Koln.

Bayern are still first, however their 1 point gap ahead of Union Berlin is cause for concern. Dortmund are 3rd, another 2 points behind. Freiburg moves about Leipzig on 37, Leipzig is on 36, one point avoid Frankfurt. These 6 teams are all fighting not just for top 4, but also seemingly for the title.

Schalke got a point this round, but they are still last. Stuttgart are 17th on 16 points, one less than 16th placed Hertha Berlin. Bayer Leverkusen are far out of the relegation zone, sitting 8th on 27 points.
