Sevilla’s woes continue, as they only managed a draw against Celta Vigo. Despite not playing their best football, Real Madrid eventually managed to beat Valladolid 2-0, thanks to a Karim Benzema brace. Leaders Barcelona were not so lucky, as they only managed a draw against city rivals, Espanyol, with both teams getting a red from ref, Lahoz. Note, Barca will play Atletico next and they will most likely be facing the Madrid based side without Lewa and Alba. In the last 2 matches of the round, La Real beat Osasuna to maintain their 3rd spot on the table, while Villareal beat rivals Valencia, 2-0.

Benzema and J. Felix are back in the team of the week! Same for Griezmann, who had a great World Cup and seems to be back to his best in La Liga as well. Parejo and Pau Torres are both featured from Villareal.
