Liverpool managed to string 2 victories together, however it wasn’t smooth sailing for the Reds, as they needed 2 own goals to turn the tie against Leicester. Man United also consolidate their good form, as substitute, Rashford, managed to bring the 3 points back to Old Trafford. The other club from Manchester, City stumbled against Everton, losing 2 crucial points in the title race. Same goes for 3rd placed Newcastle, who only managed a draw versus Leeds. Potter’s problems continue at Chelsea, as they also managed to grab only 1 point. One more than Spurs though, who lose again. Arsenal beat Brighton 4-2, to widen the gap at the top.

Arsenal are now 7 points clear and Arteta cannot be more proud. It has been a while since the Gunners dominated the league, all the way back in the Wenger days. Still a lot of games ahead, however it’s looking great for them. City are 2nd on 36 points, two more(and a game in hand) compared to Newcastle. Man United are 4th, followed by Tottenham and Liverpool. Chelsea are surprisingly 8th, behind Fulham.
On the opposite end of the table, Southampton are last, with 12 points, one less than Wolverhampton. Forest and West Ham are both on 14, while Everton are 16th with 15 points.

Team of the Week

Ivan Toney upfront, with the joint highest rating this round. Back to back team of the week apps for Martin Odegaard, which clearly signals how good Arsenal are doing. Liverpool are on the up, so Thiago also manages to make the team. Leeds duo at the back, with Meslier in goal and Cooper being a CB.
