The round started with another Mallorca win, making it 4 wins in the last 6 games for them. This time they’ve beaten Celta Vigo, 1-0. Real Sociedad continued their impressive run, with another win, this time against Iraola’s Rayo. Simeone’s Atletico are also back to winning ways, as they down relegation candidate, Valladolid, 3-0. Griezmann continued his great form, as he bagged the man of the match award. Sevilla is also showing signs of improvement, as they beat Cadiz. Still a long way to go for them though.
Barcelona did not have it easy against Getafe, however they did manage to win after a nicely taken Pedri goal after a Raphinha assist. Fellow title contenders, Real Madrid also managed to capitulate on their mid-week success against Villareal, beating Basque giants, Athletic Club at the San Mames in a very tricky game. It was Benzema and Toni Kroos who scored for Madrid.

Familiar french faces, as both Griezmann and Benzema make the team of the week this round. Griezzy is joined by team-mate Molina. Villareal and Sevilla also give two players each, as the Yellow Submarine provides Pau Torres and Dani Parejo, while Sevilla is in with Rakitic and Torres. In goal we have Gazzaniga.
