Arsenal are now 5 points above Man City, going into the World Cup break, definitely giving some peace of mind for Arteta and his men. Newcastle maintain 4th, with one goal above Tottenham. Man Utd are now 5, but they have a game in hand. Will be interesting to see the team’s reaction to Ronaldo’s interview. Liverpool move to 6th, while Chelsea fall to 8. With Leicester out of the relegation zone and Nottingham actually winning a game, Wolves are now last, 2 points behind Southampton. Leeds, West Ham and Everton are just out of the relegation zone, but they surely won’t be able to rest.

Despite failing to score over the weekend, Erling Haaland still leads the top scorers chart, with an exceptional 18 goals. Harry Kane is 2nd with 11, one more than Ivan Toney. Mitrovic and Almiron complete the top 5. Callum Wilson, Wilfred Zaha and Roberto Firmino are all on 6 goals, just like Mohamed Salah.

Team of the Week

Note: The team of the week is from Sofascore and it’s based on match ratings.

Leicester’s Ward is in great form, getting a lot of help from his team mate Amartey in defense. Impressive performance from Odegaard, while Darwin Nunez scored a brace. He is partnered in attack by Villa’s Ings. Two Man City players make the team despite their loss, with Laporte and KDB. A notable absent is of course, Ivan Toney.
