The round opened with Unai Emery’s Aston Villa grabbing another win, beating Leeds 2-1. The second match of the matchday was a big one, the Manchester Derby. Despite City opening the scoring, Man Utd managed to climb back into the game and scored 2 more, painting Manchester red. Ten Haag’s red army are in very good form, with Rashford looking world class.

Liverpool’s woes continue, as they lose to Brighton, 0-3. On the other hand, Chelsea managed to grab a rare victory, beating Palace 1-0, with new signing, Mudryk in the stands. The North London Derby closed the round and leaders, Arsenal beat Spurs, 2-0.

With City losing to United and Arsenal beating Spurs, the Gunners are now ahead by 8 points. City is followed by Newcastle and United, both teams 1 point behind, however both City and MU have a game in hand. Spurs are currently 5th. Liverpool stay 9th, while Chelsea maintain their 10th position.

Southampton are last on 15, however they have the same amount of points as Everton and West Ham. Bournemouth have one more, while Leicester, Leeds and Wolves an extra point. Very close race at the bottom.


Team of the Week
