The round kicked off with Aston Villa hosting (then) 2nd placed Arsenal. The match ended 2 – 4, Arsenal gaining the crucial 3 points in their quest for Premier League glory. In another interesting match Chelsea hosted last placed Southampton at the Stamford Bridge and the match ended 0 – 1, the Saints securing the three points and putting Potter’s job in jeopardy.

We also had Nottingham Forest hosting Manchester City and after a fierce battle, the match ended 1 – 1, both teams getting a point each and City falling behind Arsenal in the standings. In a highlight match of the round, Newcastle hosted Liverpool. After 90 minutes it was 0 – 2, Pool securing the three points. Gakpo and Nunez on the scoresheet. In the last match of the round, we had Tottenham hosting West Ham. The final score was 2 – 0, Spurs grabbing the 3 points.

Arsenal are first with a two points advantage over Man City and a game in hand. Man City are on 52 points, three more than their city rivals, Man United. Tottenham are back in the top 4, with 42 points, one more(and more match played) than Newcastle United. Liverpool are 8th, Chelsea are 10th.

Team of the Week

Rashford back in team of the week and deservedly so! He is joined by his team mates, Bruno(with 9.7!) and Lindelof. Two players from Liverpool as well, we have Trent and Robertson. Odegaard from Arsenal and KDB from Man City also makes it!
