UCL Fantasy Team 23/24 – Round 6

My UCL Fantasy team stumbled in the fifth matchday, scoring a disappointing 48 points – a far cry from our heroic performance in round 4. However, with two transfers at my disposal, I’m determined to refine my squad and make amends in the upcoming round!

Transfers

Barcelona secured first place in their group, so Xavi is expected to heavily rotate in the last round. This is why I got rid of both Lewandowski and Kounde. My pics to replace them are Lautaro Martinez from Inter and Hakimi from PSG. Both Inter and PSG need the wins and I expect their better players to step up in this crucial matchday. Risky, but could work!

The Team

I present tp you, the team for Round 6 adjusted for match dates. Might risk putting Lautaro as captain, haven’t decided yet. With 3 players from Inter Milan, I am more than confident in Nerazzurri against Real Sociedad.

Similarly, I trust Atletico Madrid versus Lazio for Simeone and co to secure first place, so I have 3 Atletico players in the team. Oblak might or might not feature, however Molina and Witsel will most likely gather to bring me points.

I’ve also kept 3 players from Bayern, despite the match versus Man United not influencing the outcome of their group stage. The Bavarians are hurt from their loss against Frankfurt, so they might be out for blood. No worries, Neuer can be taken out tomorrow.
