The round started off with an absolute gem, as leaders Napoli hosted second placed Juventus, who have been in great form recently. The game was anything but close though, as Spelletti’s men, lead by Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia absolutely dominated the old lady and walked away with a 5-1 victory. This puts Napoli in a very comfortable situation going forward.
This is true even more so because of the fact that from the top 3, not only Juventus failed to secure the 3 points, but AC Milan only managed a 3-3 versus Lecce. Inter on the other hand though, managed to win their game and are now level on points with their city rivals. The two sides from Rome also won, as Lazio beat Sassuolo, while AS Roma beat Fiorentina, both 2-0.
The score of the round comes from Atalanta, as they demolished Salernitana, 8-2.

As mentioned, Napoli are sitting comfortably at the top, on 47 points. Milan is second on 38, while Juventus are Inter are a further point behind. Just outside the top 4 we have the quartet of Lazio, Atalanta and Roma, all on 34.
Cremonese are still last, sitting on 7 points. Sampdoria and Verona are both yet to hit double digits, so these 3 teams are looking almost certain for relegation.
Team of the Week

No surprises, Napoli and Atalanta dominate this week’s TOTW. From Napoli we have Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia and centre back Kim, while from Atalanta we have Lookman, Hojlund and Koopmeiers. Roma also sends two of it’s troops, as centre back Mancini and Paolo Dybala are both added to the team. We also find Lazio’s Milinkovic-Savic in the team.
