It was a very even first half, with no team creating huge chances. Croatia’s midfield(Modric, Kovacic and Brozovic) and right back, Juranovic were the highlights, as they mostly annihilated Brazil’s attacks. The half time offered a nice shirt swap by two Real Madrid legends.

The second half started with a stronger Brazil, but Croatia’s Livakovic saved a few chances. The 27 years old goalkeeper is most definitely going to have a lot of suitors after the World Cup. Brazil kept on pushing and pushing, however no team scored in the first 90 minutes.

Neymar opened the scoring after a very nice goal in the second half of extra time and it looked like all is lost for Croatia, however substitute Orsic assisted Bruno Petkovic in the 117th minute to level the game and bring the match to penalties!

Croatia scored 4 out of 4, while Rodrygo and Marquinhos missed for Brazil! Croatia are through to the Semi Finals of the World Cup, while Tite and his men are going home, disappointed once more. Croatia will face either Netherlands or Argentina.
