In the first game of the matchday, we had Eintracht Frankfurt versus VfL Bochum and after the final whistle it was 1-1, and a draw was recorded. In another interesting match Marco Rose’s RB Leipzig squared up against FSV Mainz 05. After 90 minutes it was 0-3, RB Leipzig losing another match. They just haven’t been themselves after the trashing they received from Pep’s City.

In undoubtedly the biggest match of the round, it was Bayern Munich coming up against Borussia Dortmund. Bayern went 4 – 0 up at one point and even though Dortmund made it look decent at the end, the final result was 4-2 on Tuchel’s debut. Bayern Munich grabbed the 3 points and moved first. In the last match of the round, we had Werder Bremen facing 1899 Hoffenheim and the final result was 1-2, 1899 Hoffenheim taking all 3 points home from their Bremen trip.

Bayern Munich are now first in the league, as they have beaten their direct rivals once again. Dortmund are 2nd, 2 points behind them. Union Berlin are also making things happen, as they are now on 51 points, 4 more than 4th placed Freiburg. Leipzig are 5th, still having chances of a top 4 finish, despite their bad form.
VfB Stuttgart are still last on 20 points. That’s one less than 17th placed Schalke, who are a further point behind 16th placed Hertha.

Thomas Muller with a 9.4, thanks to Bayern’s win over Dortmund. He is joined by young Leverkusen starlet Wirtz in midfield. We have 3 players from Union Berlin, Grill, Roussillon and Kehrens.
