In the first match of the round, we had a modern day Premier league derby, as Manchester City came up against Liverpool. Even though Liverpool took the lead, the match ended 4-1, Manchester City securing the 3 points.
Moving on, first placed team Arsenal played against Leeds and the match ended 4-1, Arsenal grabbing the win and the crucial 3 points. In another highly anticipated match, we had Chelsea facing Aston Villa. After 90 minutes it was 0-2, Chelsea getting zero points.
In the most important match of the round, it was Newcastle United hosting Manchester United and After the final whistle it was 2-0, Newcastle winning the match. In the last match of the round, we had Everton coming up against Tottenham and after a tense, the match ended 1-1, and a draw.

Arsenal is the team with the most points(72), 8 more than second placed Man City, albeit with one more match played. There is a huge gap between 2nd and 3rd, however Eddie Howe’s Newcastle are currently 3rd on 50 points, same as Man United and Tottenham, who did play 2 more matches though.
Southampton still occupy the last position on 23 points. They have 2 less than 19th placed Leicester. Leeds are a further point above them, while we have not less than 4 teams on 27: Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest, Everton and West Ham.
