The matchday kicked off with Borussia Monchengladbach facing Werder Bremen and after the final whistle it was 2-2, the teams splitting the points. In the next match VfL BOCHUM came up against RB Leipzig who have suffered a heavy loss in the UCL midweek. VfL BOCHUM gained the crucial 3 points, Marco Rose’s team ending a horrible week for them. (Now) first placed team Borussia Dortmund went up against versus FC Koln. After the final whistle it was 6-1, Borussia Dortmund gaining the crucial 3 points.
In the next match Union Berlin was coming up against Eintracht Frankfurt and the final score was 2-0, Union Berlin securing the 3 points, putting them back on the podium. In the highlight match of the round, Bayer Leverkusen was facing Bayern Munich. After 2 penalties for Xabi Alonso’s side, the final result was 2-1, Bayer Leverkusen taking all 3 points home. In the last match of the round, we had FSV Mainz 05 hosting SC Freiburg, both teams getting a point each.

Borussia Dortmund move first, Bayern fall to second. Only one point difference, a lot can happen until the end, obviously. Union Berlin are 3rd, while Freiburg move 4th.
VfB Stuttgart are last and looking almost certain to get relegated. RB Leipzig finish their bad week on 5th.

Vfb Stuttgart are last, one less point than Schalke and Hertha Berlin. Hoffenheim also close, with one more point. Bochum seems to be out of woods for now, as they have opened up a 3 points gap.
