Games to Watch over the weekend – 04.11

Hello and welcome to our last Games to Watch over the weekend before the World Cup. How exciting is that? Let’s see what the weekend has to offer, in terms of football in the top give leagues!

Premier League

06/11/2213:00 CETChelsea vs Arsenal
North West London derby

Even though we have Tottenham versus Liverpool on Sunday, we have decided to go for the North West London derby. Arsenal are currently first and the way they are playing makes us believe that they genuinely have a chance of winning the Premier League this season. Chelsea are very hot and cold and due to the fact that they have won only 2 points from their last 3 games, they are 6th.

La Liga

06/11/2221:00 CETBetis vs Sevilla
The Seville Derby

No matter the current position of the two teams, the Derbi Sevillano is always an important match for the two teams. Surprisingly Sevilla are currently battling for relegation, while Betis are 4th, in UCL qualification spots. Sanpaoli did bring a positive change to F.C. Sevilla, however they will need more in order to get closer to their city rivals.

Bundesliga

05/11/2215:30 CETHoffenheim vs Leipzig

In Germany we have the battle of the undesirables, as 7th place Hoffenheim faces 5th placed Leipzig. RB has been a different animal since the appointment of Marco Rose and they even managed to go through in the Champions League. They do have their work cut out for them in the BuLi though, as their goal is clearly qualifying to the UCL next season.

Serie A

05/11/2218:00 CETAtalanta vs Napoli
06/11/2218:00 CETRoma vs Lazio
06/11/2220:45 CETJuventus vs Inter
WOW

In Italy we have 1st placed Napoli playing against 2nd placed Atalanta. On top of that, we have the hottest city derby, as Roma faces Lazio. And to elevate things to the next level, we also have Derby d’Italia. WOW, what a weekend!

Ligue 1

06/11/2213:00 CETLorient vs PSG

It is becoming more and more difficult to find interesting matches in Ligue 1, as PSG seems to be running away with the league, once more. This time however they are facing 4th placed Lorient, which might be a spicy one, especially so close to the World Cup!
